We are officially 3 years old, and what a 3 years it has been! Since we spun out from the University of Dundee, we have worked with some fantastic organisations such as Innovate UK, Investing Women and Scottish Enterprise, to name just a few.
We are part of the NHS Accelerator Programme which accelerates uptake of high-impact innovations, been to America for business growth training with other Scotland-based entreprenurial leaders as part of the First Minister’s Unlocking Ambition Programme and visited Virgin Galactic as part of the AccelerateHER awards.
During this time we have picked up numerous awards including Emerging Digital Technology Business of the Year at the ScotlandIS Digital Tech Awards; Diabetes UK Education & Self-Management Award; Quailty in Care Awards for supporting self-management in diabetes and the eHealth Adoption award.
We have taken our multi-award winning My Diabetes My Way platform to Somerset, Greater Manchester as part of Wave 2 NHS TestBed and in the near future, North West London. We have Education sites and QISMET-accredited eLearning courses running in NWL, Halton & Warrington and Lancashire & South Cumbria.
All of this wouldn’t have been possible without our fantastic team that has grown considerably over the years. At the moment we have over 15 employees that are all passionate about transforming diabetes care. We can’t wait to see what the next 3 years brings!
