We are proud to announce that MyWay Digital Health is the winner in the HealthTech category of the 2021 Digital Leaders Impact Awards. The 5th Annual Digital Leaders Impact Awards highlighted the latest champions of Tech for Good across the UK.

The Awards celebrate technological innovations that improve people’s lives and the world around us. In this past year of COVID-19, perhaps more than any other, technology has played a transformative role in tackling enormous challenges to our businesses, society and private lives.

The Impact Awards are open to any UK-operating business, individual, government or non-profit using digital products or services for positive social impact.

Digital Leaders CEO Robin Knowles said: “When the awards began in 2017 the idea of Tech for Good was well established, but by no means as mainstream as it is now. Five years on and after 14 months of a global pandemic, I believe no one can be left in any doubt as to the power of technology to be a social and economic force for good”.

He added: “This surging forward of tech for good during the pandemic is reflected in the sheer breadth and range of our 12 winners this year and not forgetting the 320 entries we received from right across the UK.”

The HealthTech award is for organisations and initiatives working to drive up the adoption of health technologies and devices to benefit patient outcomes.

MyWay Digital Health aims to support improvements in diabetes self-management, enhance communications between patients, carers and the healthcare team, to support shared decision-making and to support the implementation of automated personalised advice through the latest AI tech.

The MyWay Diabetes platform improves patient outcomes, enhances self-management and can result in an ROI of 5:1, derived from relatively fewer events and long-term patient care/ complication costs.
